Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Assam has recently issued a job notification for the recruitment of 02 Research Associate posts purely on a temporary basis for the implementation of the research project “Bio-chemical and technological innovations to develop high value ‘green’ chemicals from 2G lignin and improve biorefinery sustainability.” Interested candidates can apply for this vacancy.

1. Research Associate (RA- III)
No of Post: 01 No.
Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/. Background and experience in biological conversion of lignin into high value products through Microbial Fermentation, Microbial Bioprocessing will be preferred.
Salary: As per DBT/DST norms and the available sanctioned research project grant.

2. Research Associate (RA- III)
No of Post: 01 No.
Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/In-organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Physical Chemistry. Background and experience in Chemical catalysis of lignin to produce biofuels, biochemicals, bioproducts, and energy research will be preferred.
Salary: As per DBT/DST norms and the available sanctioned research project grant.
