IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023 : Age Limit Details
For Junior Technical Superintendent Post: Up to 30 years (No upper Age Limit for regular employees of IIT Guwahati and age relaxation for contractual employees shall be as per norms of the Institute).
For Junior Assistant Post: Up to 27 years (No upper Age Limit for regular employees of IIT Guwahati and age relaxation for contractual employees shall be as per norms of the Institute).

1. Junior Technical Superintendent:
Total Posts: 22 ( UR-18, SC-01, EWS-03 )
Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level- 6 (As per 7th CPC)
Educational Qualification:
BE/ B.Tech./Post Graduation in Chemical Engineering OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience in the appropriate field.
MSc in Chemistry or B.Sc. in Chemistry with 2 years relevant experience in the appropriate field.
BE/ B.Tech/ Post Graduation in Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology or M.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology/ MCA or B. Sc. in Computer Science/BCA with 2 years relevant experience in appropriate field, or Diploma in Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology with 3 years relevant experience in the appropriate field.
E/ B.Tech/Post Graduation in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering Or, with three years Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in appropriate field.
BE/B.Tech/Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years relevant experience in appropriate field.
