Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, Assam has recently released a job notification for the recruitment of 10 SRF (DIRECT), Project Engineer, Associate Project Engineer, Project Scientist, Associate Project Scientist and Laboratory Attendant Posts on a contractual basis in the project entitled, “SWASTHA – Smart Wearable Advanced Nano Sensing Technologies in Healthcare ASICs” at Centre for Nanotechnology. 1. SRF (DIRECT)
No of Posts: 05 Nos.

Salary: Rs.42,550.00/- per month
Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISCR etc.+2 yrs of research Exp.
2. Project Engineer
No of Posts: 01 Nos.
Salary: Rs.56,710.00 per month
Educational Qualification:
- PhD degree Or Master’s degree in Engineering +3 yrs exp. Or Bachelor`s degree in Engineering +6 yrs exp.
3. Associate Project Engineer
No of Posts: 01 Nos.
Salary: Rs.42,550.00/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering + 3 yrs exp.
4. Project Scientist
No of Posts: 01 Nos.
Salary: Rs.56,710.00/- per month

Educational Qualification:
- PhD degree Or Master’s degree in Science + 6 yrs exp.
5. Associate Project Scientist
No of Posts: 02 Nos.
Salary: Rs.42,550.00/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Science Or Bachelor’s degree in Science + 4 yrs exp.
6. Laboratory Attendant
No of Posts: 01 Nos.
Salary: Rs.10,041.00/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- High School pass with 1 yr exp.
Desirable Experience:
- Basic fundamental knowledge of lab maintenance.
- Movement of Files, Lab Cleaning, Electrical and Lab Maintenance and other related activities.
