1. Associate Professor, Population Research Centre, G.U.
No of Post: 01 No. (UR)
Pay Scale: Rs.1,31,400-2,17,100/- Plus other usual allowances as admissible under G.U. Rules.
Educational Qualification:
- A good academic record, with also a Ph.D in Demography/Population Studies/ Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology/Geography.
- A Master’s Degree with also at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed)
- A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/ or research altogether n a academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria in Appendix II, Table 2.
- Subject: Master’s Degree in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology/Geography. Persons with P.G. Degree other than Demography/Population Studies should have completed a minimum one year regular course in Demography/population studies at a recognized institution/University

2. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

Pay Scale: Fixed pay of Rs.35,412/- per month (consolidated)
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline altogether from a recognized University/ Institution.
- Adequate knowledge of computer applications.
Age: Must not be above 38 years as on the last date of application.
