Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) has recently issued a job notification for the recruitment of 11 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) posts initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this vacancy. Required qualifications, age limit, salary, and all other details are given below.

Age Limit
The post-wise age limit is as mentioned below:

Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India orders.
DRDO Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No of Posts: 10 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduation in Psychology / Applied Psychology (Specialization in Organisation Behaviour / Social Psychology/ Personality Assessment) with first division AND,
- NET qualification.

Salary:
- Rs.37,000/- P.M. 1st and 2nd year.
- Rs.42,000/- p.m. 3rd Year if retained as JRE.
- Rs.37,000/- p.m. during the entire tenure. if extended.
- The HRA shall be admissible as per govt rules.
- Contingency grant upto a maximum of Rs.15,000/- per annum for 2 years. The contingency grant will be increased to Rs.20,000/- per annum for the subsequent years.
2. Research Associate (RA)
No of Post: 01 No.
Educational Qualification: PhD in Psychology.
Salary:
- Rs.67,000/- P.M. during the entire tenure.
- The HRA shall be admissible as per govt rules.
- Contingency grant upto a maximum of Rs.20,000/- per annum during the entire tenure.
