The Office of District Commissioner (DC Office), Kamrup Metro, Assam has recently released a job notification for the recruitment of 03 District Project Manager (DPM) and District Technical Support Staff (DTSS) posts on a contractual basis. Age limit shall be relaxed for the applicant who has been serving for similar position under that or any other District Administration, by numbers of years served upto a maximum of 8 years

1. District Project Manager (DPM)
No of Post: 01 No.
Salary: Rs.22,000/- per month (Fixed)

Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline with working knowledge of computer.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 (two) years of experience of working in IT field and having knowledge of computer system.
2. District Technical Support Staff (DTSS)
No of Posts: 02 Nos.
Salary: Rs.14,000/- per month (Fixed)

Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 with also diploma in IT.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 (one) year of experience of working in IT field.
Work Location:
- The primary work location for DPM shall be the Office of the District Commissioner, Kamrup Metro, and the incumbent may be required to provide services across the district.
- The DTSS shall be required to provide technical support at Sub-District Offices and Revenue Circle Offices or as required by DeGS, Kamrup Metro.
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on a written exam followed by a personal interview for both DPM and DTSS posts separately.
In the written exam, 50 nos of multiple-choice questions shall altogether be asked comprising total of 50 marks from topics: General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning and Knowledge of Computer Systems.
The personal interview shall be of total of 50 Marks and the final selection of the candidate shall be done based on the summation of the marks obtained in the written exam and the personal interview (out of 100).
