Assam Inland Water Transport Development (AIWTD) Society, Assam has recently issued a job notification for the recruitment of 04 Project Manager (Technical), Junior Engineer, IT Specialist, Office Management Assistant posts on a contractual basis under World Bank financed Assam Inland Water Transport Project. AIWTD Society Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details
1. Project Manager (Technical)
No of Post: 01 No.
Salary: The monthly fixed salary will be Rs.1,20,000 to Rs.1,50,000 per month or 30% hike on the existing remuneration whichever is less.

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering.
- Advanced construction management/postgraduate diploma in construction management will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience of which majority of experience in project management of large-scale transport infrastructure projects.
- Experience in large-scale construction in port infrastructure and particularly marine sector preferable.
- Experience in World Bank/ Externally Aided Projects/ Govt. projects will be preferred.
2. Junior Engineer
No of Post: 01 No.
Salary: The monthly fixed remuneration will be Rs.35,000 to Rs.50,000 per month or 30% hike on the existing remuneration whichever is less.
Educational Qualification:
- Civil/ Mechanical Engineering Diploma from a recognized Institute.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience of Project Management and good knowledge in project execution.
- Knowledge of Office Management procedures, proficiency in MS Office Applications (like Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project etc.) including email.
- Experience in World Bank/ Externally Aided Projects/ Govt. projects will be preferred.
3. IT Specialist
No of Post: 01 No.
Salary: The monthly fixed remuneration will be Rs.1,00,000 to Rs.1,20,000 per month or 30% hike on the existing remuneration whichever is less.
Educational Qualification:
- Masters in Information Technology (IT), or related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in management of IT Software.
- Experience with management in IT Hardware.
- Experience with Windows services, web technologies, web services.
- Experience of developing web-based applications.
- Experience of managing mobile applications.
- Experience of server handling (Linux, Unix, AWS, Azure)
- Experience of agile methodology for application development.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multi-task requirements, high attention to detail and a high degree of pro-activity and initiative.
- Experience of work in any External Aided Project would be preferred.
4. Office Management Assistant
No of Post: 01 No.
Salary: The monthly fixed remuneration will be Rs.35,000 to Rs.50,000 per month or 30% hike on the existing remuneration whichever is less.

Educational Qualification:
- Graduate/ Post Graduate (from a Govt. recognized University).
Experience:
- Should have minimum of 4 (four) years of experience in office management.
- Should have knowledge of IT and Office Management, proficiency in MS Office Applications (like Word, Excel,Power Point, MS Project etc.) including email.
