Northeast Frontier (NF) Railway, Assam has recently released a job notification for the recruitment of 69 Teachers on a contractual basis in Railway H.S. Schools of Lumding, Dimapur, and Badarpur. Interested candidates can apply for this vacancy with the help of this article.

- Age Limit: The candidate should be between the age of 18 and 65 years (as per KVS rules) as on date of interview and selected candidate shall not be eligible to continue their contract services beyond 65 years.
NF Railway Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details
1. Primary Teacher (PRT)
Total Posts: 18 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
- Senior secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED/JBT/PTT) (by whatever name Known) And,
- Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with Guidelines framed by the NICE for the purpose and must have competency to teach in English Medium.
2. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Total Posts: 08 Nos.

Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate in relevant subject with atleast 50% marks and BEd with competency to teach in English / Assamese medium.
3. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Total Posts: 27 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
- At least 50% marks in Graduation (in the teaching subject) and B.Ed. And,
- Pass in the teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the approved Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. And,
- Competency to teach in English medium. At least he /she should have the language paper in the secondary level.
- For PTI, graduate from a recognized University with a Diploma in Physical training from a recognized institution or a BPED from a recognized University and Higher Secondary.
- For Fine Arts/TGT (drawing)- Bachelors’ degree with Drawing & Painting Arts with a minimum 2 years full-time Diploma from a recognized Institution.
4. Contractual Computer Teacher
Total Posts: 09 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
- MCA/BCA M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) /B.Tech (Computer Science) / PGDCA from a recognized institution/University.
5. Contractual Dance Teacher
Total Posts: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
- Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Dance or equivalent from a recognized University.
- Competency to teach in English medium.
6. Contractual Music Teacher
Total Posts: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
- Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree or Diploma In Instrumental Music or equivalent from a recognized University.
- Competency to teach in English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
7. Yoga Teacher
Total Posts: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline with degree/diploma in Yoga from a recognized university.
