Educational Qualification & Experience:
1. Operator-cumTechnician (Boiler Operator) (S-3)
- Matriculation with 03 years (full time) diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical or Power Plant or Production or Instrumentation Engineering discipline from Govt. recognized institute.
- First class Boiler Attendant certificate of Competency.
2. Attendant-cumTechnician (Boiler Attendant) (S-1)
- Matriculation with full time ITI/NAC from NCVT in the trade of Fitter/Rigger/Electrician/Turner from Govt. recognised institute.
- Second Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency.
3. Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee)- Electrician (S-1)
- Matriculation with full time ITI/NAC from NCVT in Electrician trade only from Govt. recognized Institute.
4. Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee)- Fitter (S-1)
- Matriculation with full time ITI/NAC from NCVT in Fitter trade only from Govt. recognized Institute.
5. Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee)- Turner (S-1)
- Matriculation with full time ITI/NAC from NCVT in Turner trade only from Govt. recognized Institute.

6. Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee)- Welder (S-1)
- Matriculation with full time ITI/NAC from NCVT in Welder trade only from Govt. recognized Institute.
7. Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee) (S1)* -EOT Crane Operator
- Matriculation with full time ITI/NCVT in Fitter/Rigger/Turner/Electrician trade from Govt. recognised institute.
- Minimum 01 (One) year experience in operation of E.O.T. Cranes of 120 tonnes or more capacity.
8. Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee)- Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD) (S-1)
- Matriculation with valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence.
- Minimum 01 year post qualification experience (after Matriculation) in operation of Haulpack Dumper/Hydraulic Mobile Crane/ Bull-Dozer/ Chain Mounted Loader/ Wheel Loader/Hydraulic Excavator/ Hydraulic Shovel.
Salary Details of SAIL Recruitment 2024
Post-wise salary details are as mentioned below:

Selection Process of SAIL Recruitment
1. For the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) (S-3), Attendant-cum-Technician (Boiler Attendant) (S-1) and Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (S-1) candidates will be required to appear for Computer Based Test (CBT). However, candidates may be required to appear for Skill Test/Trade Test directly (without CBT) depending on the number of applications received for the post(s) as per the policy of the Company.
2. For the posts of Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) (S-3), Attendant-cum-Technician (Boiler Attendant) (S-1) and Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (S-1) the Trade Test/Skill Test will be of qualifying nature.
3. For final selection, merit list will be drawn by combining the scores of Computer Based Test (CBT) and performance in Skill/Trade Test.
